Job Title: Registered Nurse - Acute Medical/Coronary Care Unit
">About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Acute Medical Unit and Coronary Care Unit (CCU) team at Northern Beaches Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team, and contributing to a supportive and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based care to patients with acute medical conditions, including coronary care unit patients
- Work effectively as part of a high-functioning team, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives
- Participate in educational programs and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical expertise
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 1-2 years' experience in an acute hospital setting
- Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Highly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated, and patient-focused
