About the Role

Are you a caring and compassionate individual looking for a rewarding career in Disability Support? We are seeking an experienced and skilled support worker to join our team.

Job Description

This role involves providing exceptional support to clients with disabilities, assisting them in achieving their goals and improving their overall quality of life. Your duties will include:

  • Providing intensive, flexible, and responsive client-focused support to assist clients in successfully improving their physical and mental health.
  • Developing connections with the community and helping clients achieve their goals.
  • Assisting with daily living tasks, domestic assistance, social support, transport, and community outings.
  • Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current full Australian driver's license and own car.
  • Comprehensive Car Insurance.
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check (Service NSW) or willingness to obtain.
  • Valid First Aid & CPR Certificate.
  • Working with Children Check (WWCC).
  • Fluent English language skills.
  • Manual Handling, managing challenging behaviors, and delivering high-care support.
  • Previous experience in Disability Support or Assistant in Nursing (AIN).
  • Availability across all weekdays, including weekends and Public Holidays.
