Financial Manager for Asset Finance Excellence

About this Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Manager to lead our Asset Finance team and drive excellence in credit risk management, process efficiency, and relationship building.
As a key member of our BOQ Finance business, you will play a critical role in delivering operational success and driving the growth of our Asset Finance business. With a strong focus on leadership, collaboration, and continuous improvement, you will be responsible for managing direct reports, implementing initiatives, training junior and senior staff, developing new policies and procedures, and fostering a culture of high performance and efficiency.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a diverse range of stakeholders across the business and externally, including Credit Risk, Risk, Compliance, Operations, Customer Service, Product, Transformation, Regional Sales Managers, Business Development Managers, and directly with introducers to BOQ Finance.
You will have a solid understanding and application of Asset Finance and associated Group Policies, as well as advanced knowledge of the Asset Finance process and procedures. You will also possess sound credit acumen, leadership skills, and the capacity to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a complex commercial environment, with a proven track record of executing goals towards business group targets, consistently exceeding KPIs in delivering these targets, and aligning with BOQ values and purpose.
