Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our security group, you will be responsible for contributing to the development, integration, and maintenance of systems while ensuring compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of system solutions
  • Assist in the creation of technical documentation and reports
  • Manage the development and maintenance of security Assessment and Authorisation (A&A) documentation
  • Conduct threat and risk assessments, identify and recommend treatment controls and mitigation strategies
  • Provide input to and review the development of system tests and analysis that verify system security controls
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in cyber security engineering with software development, computer networks and embedded software systems
  • Knowledge and experience related to Defence cyber security Assessment & Authorization (A&A) processes
  • Knowledge and experience about contemporary security engineering process, standards, principles and best practice
  • Tertiary qualifications in systems / software engineering, computer science, or related technical discipline
  • Pursuing or achieved relevant cyber security certification(s)

A defence security clearance is required for this role. Applicants will be required to be an Australian Citizen and hold an Australian Defence Security Clearance preferably NV1/NV2 level.
