The Role

As the Recreational Activities Officer, you will be responsible for planning and leading activities that meet the social and recreational needs of our residents. This includes assessing and documenting the effectiveness of our programs, making changes as needed to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a CertIII in Leisure and Lifestyle
  • Senior First Aid Certificate is essential
  • Previous experience in an aged or community care setting
  • Highly developed organization and time management skills
  • The ability to solve problems independently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • An understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Outcomes
