Health Information Manager Role
We are seeking an experienced Health Information Manager to lead our health information services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing clinical coding, medical transcription, and release of information.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a high-performing team, ensuring excellence in all health information services.
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to ensure top-notch data integrity and clinical coding accuracy.
- Oversee critical data submissions, collaborating with external partners and health funds.
- Design and manage medical record forms, aligning with industry standards.
- Ensure accurate and timely information release requests and medical transcriptions.
Requirements
- A Bachelor Degree in Health Science/Business (Health Administration - Health Information Management) and eligibility for HIMAA membership.
- Proven experience in health information management, clinical coding (ICD, AR-DRGs), clinical information systems, forms design, and auditing.
- A strong track record of leading teams, driving quality and safety standards, and collaborating effectively with IT and clinical teams.
