Entry Level Family Law Attorney

Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be working as a junior family lawyer with approximately 1 year post-admission experience. They will be required to work in a full-time, in-office environment where they can learn on the job and develop their skills.
This role involves working on parenting and property disputes, divorce, intervention orders, and related matters. The ideal candidate will have strong drafting and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities- Draft court documents, affidavits, and correspondence to ensure effective communication and documentation of cases.
- Prepare briefs to counsel and attend court and mediation sessions to represent clients effectively.
- Manage files with support from senior lawyers to ensure timely and efficient case progression.
- Maintain regular client contact to provide updates and address concerns.
- Admitted with 1 year PAE in family law, with a solid understanding of relevant laws and regulations.
- Able to work full-time from the office, demonstrating commitment to learning and development.
- Excellent drafting and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information effectively.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
