Sheet Metal Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced sheet metal technician to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in roofing, cladding, and flashing and possess the ability to fabricate using a variety of hand tools and machines.

Job Description:
  • Fabrication, installation, and repair of sheet metal components, including roofing, flashing, and cladding
  • Work with various metals, including stainless steel, galvanized steel, and aluminum
  • Operate and maintain hand tools and fabrication machinery
  • Interpret technical drawings and plans
  • Perform tasks at heights and within confined spaces as required
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in sheet metal work
  • Proven experience with roofing, cladding, and flashing
  • Skill in fabrication using hand tools and machines
  • Experience working with stainless steel, galvanized steel, and aluminum
  • Ability and certification to work at heights (Working at Heights certificate essential)
  • White Card (General Construction Induction Card) – Essential
