About The Henry Jones Art Hotel

We are a 5-star luxury hotel located in Hobart, Tasmania, offering an unparalleled experience that is far more than just accommodation. Our hotel partners with local artists to present a continuously changing exhibition of over 400 art works.

As a Guest Service Agent, you will have the opportunity to work across various roles, including managing reservations, assisting guests as a porter, parking cars as a valet, and greeting and checking in guests at the front desk.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Front Office Operations: Manage front office activities, including check-in, check-out, room assignments, and key control.
  • Guest Services: Provide excellent customer service, respond to guest inquiries, and resolve any issues or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as housekeeping, food and beverage, and engineering, to ensure seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences.
Requirements:
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with guests and colleagues in a professional and respectful manner.
  • Time Management: Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Customer Service: Previous experience in a customer-facing role, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team, with a positive attitude and a willingness to support colleagues when needed.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and priorities, with a proactive approach to resolving issues and improving processes.
