The Role
We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Engineer to join our Digital & Technology team at Strathpine. Reporting to the Cyber Security Operations Manager, you will play a key role in protecting our computer systems, networks, and information across the Group and retail environments.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing cutting-edge security measures to safeguard SRG's information systems.
- Applying and managing security protocols across the five critical areas of the NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
- Identifying, protecting against, detecting, responding to, and recovering from cyber threats.
- Ensuring data remains secure, confidential, and available.
Requirements
- Experience in deploying security controls in large-scale and distributed environments.
- Knowledge of security-related technologies such as network security, cloud security, endpoint security, Identity & Access Management, and Security operations.
- Proven experience and knowledge of security frameworks and regulations, including NIST CSF, PCI-DSS, and ASD Essential Eight.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certification or equivalent.
- Offensive Security certifications (e.g., CEH, OSCP, CREST, or equivalent).
