Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Penetration Tester to join our Security Testing & Assurance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting security tests on customer information systems, infrastructure, software, and networks.
Key Responsibilities
- Security Testing: Conduct security tests on customer information systems, infrastructure, software, and networks.
- Remediation Advice: Provide robust and considered remediation advice to address security weaknesses and improve security posture.
- Metric Development: Develop metrics to enable customers to make informed decisions about their environment's security posture.
- Project Scoping: Assist with project scoping and technical proposal writing.
- Quality Assurance: Provide quality assurance activities for the team and practice.
- Technical Leadership: Act as a technical leader, supporting the team and contributing to service improvement and practice development.
Requirements
- Security Experience: Experience as a security testing or cyber practitioner, ideally with some experience in a consulting environment with mentoring and supporting junior staff in a small to medium-sized team.
- Technical Skills: Working knowledge of web application and network security, with hands-on experience in manual testing techniques and the use (and limitations) of automated scanners. Knowledge of various operating systems and networks, especially Linux, Windows, and Active Directory.
- Related Certifications: Related certifications such as OSCP, CREST CCT (Applications or Infrastructure), SANS, or other.
- Cloud and Container Experience: Experience with cloud and container technologies like AWS, Azure, or Kubernetes is a plus.
- Programming Skills: Proficiency in a programming language such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or C++.
