About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Key Worker to join our team at Everyday Independence. As a Key Worker, you will be responsible for delivering interventions to NDIS participants (specifically children aged 0-8) and their families, leading to positive and life-changing outcomes in Melton and surrounding areas.

This is a full-time or part-time (4 days per week) position, requiring availability and commitment to support before/after school appointments, which are highly requested by participants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver therapy and support to children and their families in diverse settings, including homes, schools, and community centers
  • Assess and develop individualized plans to meet the unique needs of each participant
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, and Educators
  • Provide coaching and support to parents and caregivers to enhance their child's development and well-being
  • Document and bill for each session through our online participant management system

Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualification and registration (Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Speech Pathologist, or Educator)
  • Minimum 12 months experience working with children (aged 0-8) and their families
  • Demonstrated experience working with children with disability
  • Positive and flexible approach to work, with strong communication skills and a team player attitude
  • Commitment to personal and professional growth, with a valid Australian driver's license and NDIS Workers Screening Check
