Job Summary:
">This is an exciting opportunity to join our school as a Learning Specialist. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of educators and contribute to the development of high-quality teaching and learning programs.
">About the Role:
">The Learning Specialist will be responsible for leading and modelling exemplary classroom practice, developing and implementing whole-school improvement strategies related to curriculum planning and delivery, and providing expert advice on student data and teacher effectiveness.
">Key Responsibilities:
">• Demonstrate high-level expertise in teaching and learning practice.
">• Model exemplary classroom practice through teaching demonstration lessons.
">• Work with the school leadership team to develop a shared view of highly effective teacher practice.
">• Lead and model the implementation of whole-school improvement strategies related to curriculum planning and delivery.
">• Play a key role in the provision of professional learning, including developing processes and protocols for observation and feedback of teacher practice and peer collaboration.
">Requirements:
">• Must have provisional or full registration from the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
">• Must demonstrate that they have passed the literacy and numeracy test for initial teacher education (LANTITE) requirements.
">• Have a range of responsibilities related to their expertise, including teaching demonstration lessons, observing and providing feedback to other teachers, and facilitating school-based professional learning.
