Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

Endava is seeking an accomplished technologist to join our Google Cloud team as a Cloud Infrastructure Specialist. This role presents a market-first opportunity to serve as an infrastructure subject matter expert, providing technical guidance on solutions design, governance, security, operations, and cost control best practices.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and build cloud-based infrastructures and landing zones for customers
  • Assist with the creation of Infrastructure architectures and technical documentation
  • Implement secure cloud foundational cloud implementations
  • Automate provisioning of infrastructure and applications
  • Design cloud-ready applications architecture
  • Deliver end-to-end cloud-based infrastructure management solutions
  • Present Infrastructure modernization strategy to C-level executives
  • Improve monitoring, logging, and observability in Client environments
  • Define and implement cloud infrastructure governance and building deployment standards
Requirements:
  • Hands-on Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) development
  • Experience with virtualization: servers, storage, networks
  • Google Cloud Platform certification, along with a minimum of 2 years of practical experience using its suite of tools
  • Experience with infrastructure-based processes such as monitoring, capacity planning, performance tuning, disaster recovery, and data centre exit
  • Experience with Google's Cloud Foundation Toolkit and Landing Zone implementations
