A great opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our team and take on a challenging role in the maintenance and repair of overhead cranes and lifting equipment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of overhead cranes, hoists and materials handling equipment. This will include checking fabricated and assembled metal parts for accuracy, clearance and fit using precision measuring instruments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fitting fabricated metal parts into products and assembling metal parts and sub-assemblies to produce machines and equipment.
  • Ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Requirements

  • Mechanical Trade qualification with a strong background in fabrication and assembly.
  • Previous experience in the Crane industry with a focus on maintenance and repair.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
