About The Role

This position plays a key part in supporting the leadership and daily operations of our Out of School Hours Care service, ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining smooth service delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Support the leadership and management of staff, ensuring effective team collaboration and development.
  • Manage administrative procedures, including curriculum development, parent and community liaison, staff professional development, and training.
  • Liaise with staff to ensure seamless day-to-day operations, covering for the Coordinator when needed.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of WHS legislation and experience working within an education and care setting. They will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team environment.

Key Requirements
  • Degree in Early Childhood from a recognized University.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a Nominated Supervisor position in an Out of School Hours Care/Vacation Care Service or minimum 5 years' experience in a leadership position in an Out of School Hours Care service.
  • Previous experience in all areas of administrative procedure, curriculum development, parent and community liaison, staff professional development and training, team leadership and management of staff.
  • Understanding and working knowledge of WHS legislation.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of services requirements of the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) system and ability to perform software application for compliance.
