Maintenance Planner/Scheduler

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Rolling Stock Maintenance Planner to join our team at Fortescue. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling preventative and corrective maintenance activities for our Ore Car, Locomotive, and Ancillary Rollingstock fleets.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure optimal fleet performance and minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with department supervisors to determine labour capacities and resource allocation.
- Convert maintenance notifications into work orders and facilitate the delivery of the weekly maintenance schedule.
- Review and process vendor invoices to ensure accurate payment and compliance.
- Drive performance improvement initiatives and mentor the maintenance, engineering, and operations teams in work management processes.
- Proven experience in maintenance planning and scheduling within a heavy industry environment.
- Advanced Excel and MS Project skills, with experience in SAP a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to read and interpret work management KPIs.
- Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and milestones.
