We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who want to make a positive impact in the lives of others.

Job Description

This role involves providing person-centred care and support to customers in their own homes, assisting them with daily living activities and promoting independence.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and demonstrate empathy and understanding when working with customers with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Personal Care: Assist customers with showering, dressing, grooming and medication management.
  • Domestic Assistance: Provide light household cleaning, laundry and meal preparation services.
  • Social Support/Transportation: Accompany customers on social activities, shopping trips and medical appointments.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Certificate III or IV in Aged Care: Hold a current qualification in aged care, disability or community care.
  • Assist Clients with Medications Certificate: Possess a valid certificate in assist clients with medications (HLTHPS006).
  • First Aid and CPR Certificate: Hold a current first aid and CPR certificate.
