Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance on equipment at customer premises, utilizing problem-solving and diagnostic skills to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Install and commission equipment under the guidance of project management, ensuring seamless execution and quality results.
  • Complete all required paperwork accurately and neatly, facilitating timely invoicing and payment from customers.
  • Provide basic technical on-the-job coaching to service technicians and offer constructive feedback to enhance their performance.
  • Maintain awareness of customer procedures and policies, adhering to site-specific requirements.
  • Take ownership of tasks and demonstrate initiative to deliver exceptional customer service, driving customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Implement effective stock control measures to minimize losses and optimize inventory management.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external customers, building trust and credibility through professional interactions.
Requirements:
  • Hold a valid Full Electrical License and a current Driver's license.
  • Possess extensive experience in fault finding, service work, and industrial settings.
  • Demonstrate availability for on-call duties, including nights, weekends, and public holidays, on a rostered basis.
  • Exhibit excellent customer service skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills.
  • Show willingness to utilize a PDA (handheld computer) and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Display a proactive approach, ability to work with minimal supervision, and a high level of motivation as a self-starter.
