Restaurant Operations Director

At Pizza Meine Liebe, we're seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our front-of-house team and drive business growth.
About the RoleThis is a competitive salary role with a base annual salary of AU$90,000 - AU$110,000 plus superannuation, offering a dynamic and enjoyable work environment within a tight-knit, committed team.
Job DescriptionWe're looking for someone with a genuine love for hospitality and proven experience managing or being a senior member of a front-of-house team in a high-service environment. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the day-to-day operation of the business, ensuring exceptional service standards;
- Managing efficient rostering practices and controlling costs throughout the business;
- Creating a safe and supportive environment for your team, fostering diversity and inclusivity;
- Developing detailed knowledge of our menu, training staff on the provenance of ingredients and preparation of house-made items;
- Leading recruitment, team development, and internal training, ensuring staff professionalism and growth;
- Overseeing workplace policies, procedures, and guidelines, ensuring compliance with licensing and safety regulations;
- Proactively managing stock levels and executing regular stocktakes;
- Being the driving force behind the human resources aspect of the restaurant, mentoring and managing your service team;
- Monitoring the online reputation of the business and maintaining its primary social media (Instagram) account;
- Managing reservations and efficiently rostering to maximise revenue and control business costs.

The Successful CandidateWe're looking for someone with:

- Proven experience in restaurant management and team leadership;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work effectively and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment;
- Genuine passion for delivering an exceptional dining experience;
- Understanding of food safety standards and regulations;
- Able to work evenings and weekends;
- Full working rights in Australia.
