Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Travel Operations Specialist. This position is responsible for managing complex travel requirements, including VIP client needs and logistical itinerary plans.

The ideal candidate will have experience in travel consulting, with a strong knowledge of airfares, contracted fares, ticketing, and GDS systems. They will also possess excellent customer service skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.

This role requires a proactive and self-starter individual who can work independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate will be able to negotiate with vendors, assess revenue and income streams, and process administrative tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage client travel requirements, including VIP client needs and logistical itinerary plans.
  • Formulate complex travel solutions, ensuring budgets and specific requirements are met.
  • Service all VIP enquiries, requests, bookings, and ticketing with high standards and quality documentation.
  • Report, investigate, and resolve errors or client complaints, adhering to highest customer service standards.
  • Operate in accordance with client service level agreements (SLAs) and company policies.
Requirements:
  • BS or BA degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 4+ years of relevant travel consulting experience, managing high demand clientele.
  • Strong knowledge of airfares, contracted fares, ticketing, and GDS systems.
  • Experience handling VIP, touring, film, theatre, production, or media clients, and/or group travel.
  • Excellent customer service, negotiation, problem-solving, and time management skills.
