About the Role

We are seeking a well-presented professional with outstanding customer service and administration skills to join our team as a Receptionist/Administration Assistant at Barden Lodge. As a key member of our team, you will provide reception, administrative, and rostering support to the Facility Manager and the Director of Care.

The successful applicant will have at least 2 years' experience in similar roles, preferably in aged care, and possess excellent communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills. They will be task-focused, able to time manage, prioritize, and multi-task, with strong administration skills and the ability to work well under pressure.

We are looking for a flexible office all-rounder who enjoys working in a busy environment and adding value to the lives of our residents. The successful candidate will be required to have a flu vaccination in line with government direction and be willing to provide a valid police check and undergo a pre-employment medical.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide reception and administrative support to the Facility Manager and the Director of Care
  • Manage rosters and schedules
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and staff
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of administrative tasks
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment
Requirements
  • At least 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in aged care
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills
  • Task-focused with the ability to time manage, prioritize, and multi-task
  • Strong administration skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
