**Virgin Australia Lounge Canberra - Store Person/Kitchen Hand Role**
We are seeking an enthusiastic Stores Person/Kitchen Hand for Part Time employment to join our team at one of our prestigious sites in Canberra.
This is a rare opportunity to work with an iconic international brand, delivering high-quality food and beverage experiences while engaging with valued lounge guests and stakeholders.
The Stores Person roster can start as early as 7:00am Monday to Friday, with shifts ending 1:00pm.
This role requires transporting and organising deliveries and stock, maintaining BOH storage areas and equipment cleanliness, frequent communication with suppliers and the wider team on site, and monitoring and recording food safety.
Frequent physical activity, manual handling of large quantities of stock, and repetitive lifting are required.
You should be a positive-minded individual who takes pride in appearance, presents well, and is socially confident when engaging with all stakeholders involved in stock management.
A self-motivated, detail-oriented professional with good knowledge of OH&S and food hygiene is required.
**About You**
Prior experience in a Stores Person role is preferred. A proven ability to manually handle and repetitively lift large quantities of stock, coupled with excellent communication skills, would make you an ideal candidate.
