About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Optometrist to join our dynamic team at Asda Opticians, committed to excellence in healthcare. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete eye examinations, contact lens, and extended service examinations
  • Work alongside our Dispensing Optician Manager to support training, coaching, and maintaining all departmental standards
  • Deliver a wide range of care for the treatment and monitoring of eye conditions, including supporting additional accreditations as needed
  • Participate in our CPD programme and have protected time for further accreditations, funded by Asda

About You

We are looking for a skilled candidate who is eager to join us, contribute to our store's excellent service levels, and foster positive relationships within our team and the wider community. To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Be a fully qualified optometrist registered with the General Optical Council (GOC)
  • Be on track to meet the statutory points requirement for CPD
  • Be able to use your skills and passion for the role to deliver a memorable customer experience
  • Be passionate about developing new patient services and shaping the culture of the department
