About the Role
Fulton Hogan is seeking a skilled Plant Road Transport Mechanic to join our experienced Fleet Workshop team in Hazelmere, Perth WA.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform major and minor servicing of plant and equipment, including road transport.
- Repair and diagnose hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Order parts for assigned tasks and diagnose and repair a wide range of systems.
- Modify and upgrade systems to meet safety and ergonomic requirements.
- Rebuild components, test, and commission on installation.
Requirements
- Trade-qualified plant mechanic or motor trade experience within a site construction-based environment.
- Demonstrated experience in a workshop or site maintenance environment with fault diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work unsupervised in the workshop, servicing and maintaining our modern civil, heavy road transport, and asphalting fleet.
- Valid manual driver's license essential.
- Self-starter with initiative and desire to mentor apprentices.
