As a Return to Work Specialist, you'll be a leader and expert in identifying and delivering recovery and return to work outcomes for all injury claims within your team. You'll use your expertise to identify high-risk claims, working closely with case managers to drive a return to work focus with injured workers and employers.

You will utilise your knowledge and skillset in person-centred injury management and exceptional stakeholder communication skills, to support workers impacted by complex injuries back to work and life safely.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage high-risk injury claims, supporting injured workers and employers with recovery, return to work and health
  • Support case managers with regular claim conferencing and biopsychosocial risk factor identification
  • Identify primary and secondary psychological claims, supporting strategic measures for injured workers' recovery and full functional capacity
  • Undertake return to work visits (virtual and in-person) to support recovery and return to work outcomes
Qualifications:
  • Workers Compensation scheme Claims Management experience or significant RTW knowledge and experience
  • Knowledge of Personal Injury Management concepts relating to Victoria's Workers Compensation Scheme
  • Excellent customer service skills and experience
  • Time management, administrative and organisational skills
  • Leadership and coaching/mentoring experience
  • Tertiary qualification in an appropriate discipline or similar role experience
