About the Opportunity

Reporting to our Pre-Contracts Manager and working as part of a close-knit commercial and tendering team, you will play a critical role in growing and maintaining the Company's competitive advantage whilst gaining exposure to a diverse range of underground coal projects at various stages of the project lifecycle.

You will use your industry expertise and strong stakeholder engagement skills to deliver high quality estimates and bids.

Key responsibilities:

  • Interpret client scopes, appreciate client's underlying drivers and plan commercially viable project solutions;
  • Work closely with Mastermyne Senior Operational Managers and Executive Management to coordinate tender expectations;
  • Build cost estimates from First Principles, for a leading contractor that delivers services to mine operators;
  • Detailed rates build-up and consolidation for labour, equipment and maintenance, unit rates, plus fixed price and schedule of rates style contracts;
  • Preparing tender returnable schedules, org charts, equipment lists, materials takeoffs, production calculations;
  • Preparing submissions, presentations, and Quality Assurance documentation for tenders ensuring that tenders are submitted professionally and timely;
  • Manage tender enquiries and assist project managers with project kick-offs.
