We are seeking an experienced and skilled Head Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Greencross Vets.
About the Role:The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing a team of veterinary nurses, providing exceptional patient care, and contributing to the overall success of our practice.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage a team of veterinary nurses, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Develop and implement nursing protocols and procedures to ensure best practice.
- Collaborate with the veterinary team to ensure seamless patient care and excellent communication.
- Manage stock inventory and maintain equipment to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest nursing practices and technologies.
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a veterinary nurse.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of RX Works is an advantage but not essential.
