The Austcorp Executive Industrial team is seeking a highly skilled Automation Sales Engineer to join our team and drive growth in the Industrial Automation portfolio. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and expanding existing accounts within the sector.
Key Responsibilities:- Achieve and exceed sales growth targets through effective account management and relationship-building with customers.
- Demonstrate technical expertise on all automation products and solutions, providing valuable insights and guidance to customers.
- Develop and manage relationships with channel partners through joint sales activities and training, driving mutual success and growth.
- Promote and support packaged control systems and end-to-end solutions that meet the evolving needs of industrial clients.
- Prepare proposals, respond to tenders, and negotiate agreements with customers, ensuring seamless project delivery and satisfaction.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends and product innovations, staying ahead of the competition and anticipating customer needs.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred) or a related field, demonstrating your technical acumen and understanding of automation systems.
- At least 3 years of external field sales experience in industrial automation or a related field, showcasing your ability to drive sales growth and build strong relationships.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, enabling you to effectively engage with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Experience working with engineers, consultants, system integrators, and contractors, highlighting your ability to collaborate and deliver value-added solutions.
- Proficiency in planning, organizing, and managing projects effectively, ensuring timely and successful project delivery.
