About the Opportunity

The Boeing Company is seeking a highly skilled Aviation Systems Engineer to join our team in Australia. As a key member of the MQ-28 Integrated Test Team, you will contribute to the development of cutting-edge capability through exposure to all facets of the product lifecycle.

Job Overview

  • You will provide engineering support for mechanical systems over the product lifecycle.
  • Investigate technical issues and resolve product defects.
  • Disposition problem reports generated from ground and flight testing.
  • Develop air vehicle modification kits through collaboration between design and maintenance teams.

Your Responsibilities

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative solutions for complex mechanical systems. Your expertise in design, test or support of air vehicle mechanical systems will be invaluable in this role.

Your Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in engineering development, integration or support projects.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Mechatronics, and membership with Engineers Australia (MIEAust).
  • Demonstrated experience with design, test or support of air vehicle mechanical systems e.g. landing gear, hydraulics, powerplant or flight controls.
  • Familiarity with engineering change processes.
  • Experience developing artefacts within the Defence Aviation Safety Regulation (DASR) environment.
  • UAV or Autonomous Systems project experience.
  • 3D modelling and design tools proficiency.
