We are seeking a skilled Metal Machinist to join our team at Sulzer Australia's Maitland Service Centre. As a dynamic individual, you will contribute to our commitment to excellence in mechanical machining.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work on cutting-edge projects with a global industry leader.
• Operate manual lathes up to 100t with comprehensive training provided.
• Read and interpret complex mechanical drawings with precision.
• Disassemble and reassemble mechanical equipment in alignment with QA procedures.
• Repair or replace components such as shafts, gears, seals, impellers, and more.
• Collaborate with a talented team in a safety-conscious environment.
• Use measuring equipment and maintain accurate check sheets.

Job Requirements:

• Trade Certificate III Fitter and Turner.
• Experience in mechanical machining of large equipment (pumps, fans, gearboxes, turbines).
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
• Proven ability to work in accordance with quality assurance procedures.
