Advanced Therapist Role in Community-Based Allied Health Services

Prospero Health & Social Care is a leading provider of community-based, allied health services. We are seeking an experienced Speech Pathologist to join our team and contribute to empowering individuals to reach their personal goals.
About the RoleThis advanced therapist role involves assessing and providing interventions for children and adults with various disabilities. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to maximise clients' level of function, capacity, and social engagement.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualised intervention plans
- Work within the NDIS framework to ensure optimal outcomes for clients
- Assist clients with assistive technology assessment, recommendations, and applications
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation and report writing
- Manage a caseload of clients across various settings
- Mentor and supervise junior staff members
- Engage with key stakeholders, including therapists, clients, and referral sources
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in speech pathology
- Discipline-specific professional registration (e.g., AHPRA/SPA)
- Working with Children Check (WWCC or Blue Card)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Police Check
- Drivers license and access to a reliable vehicle
- Professional Indemnity and Public Liability insurance
