Environmental Approvals Leader

This is an exciting opportunity for a Technical Director to lead our Environmental Approvals team. We are seeking a highly experienced professional who can drive the success of high-value projects in Australia's most sensitive and strategically important environments.
Job Description- Lead complex multidisciplinary assessments and approvals across renewables, ports, defence, transport and infrastructure.
We are looking for someone with a strong background in environmental planning, impact assessment and regulatory approvals. You will have a degree in environmental planning, science, engineering or related discipline and relevant professional certification. Experience in delivering complex approvals and navigating sensitive regulatory contexts is essential.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic project leadership - Lead complex multidisciplinary assessments and approvals across renewables, ports, defence, transport and infrastructure including Commonwealth and State-level pathways
- Technical authority - Provide expert technical direction across major infrastructure and marine developments championing best practice and innovation across the team and the profession
- Client partnership and influence - Expand market presence through leadership and advise clients on regulatory engagement, impact strategies and approvals confidence. Build enduring relationships that position us as the trusted strategic partner
- Team and talent development - Inspire, mentor and develop a high-performing national team shaping a culture that values collaboration, learning and leadership
