Experienced hospitality professionals are sought to join a dynamic team on North Stradbroke Island. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced, coastal environment.

About the Role:

We are looking for talented bartenders, kitchen hands and chefs to contribute to the success of our establishment. Your role will involve crafting delicious dishes using fresh, local ingredients in a fun and dynamic kitchen environment.

  • Bartenders: You will be responsible for mixing cocktails, engaging with customers and maintaining a clean and welcoming bar area.
  • Kitchen Hands: Your duties will include prepping ingredients, cleaning the kitchen and supporting our talented chef team.
  • Chefs: As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for creating delicious dishes, managing inventory and maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.

Requirements:

  • Bartenders:
    • Experience working in a bar environment (cocktail experience a plus)
    • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
    • Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor
    • RSA certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Kitchen Hands:
    • Previous kitchen hand or dishwashing experience preferred
    • Ability to work well under pressure
    • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Chefs:
    • Proven experience in a similar role
    • Ability to work in a team and handle high-pressure situations
    • Passion for cooking with fresh, local ingredients
    • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent (preferred)
