Job Title: Scaffolding Safety Specialist

The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong understanding of safety standards and regulations related to scaffolding. They will be responsible for conducting regular site inspections, identifying potential hazards, and implementing corrective actions.

  • Conduct thorough inspections of scaffolding sites to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Provide guidance on the selection and installation of suitable scaffolds.
  • Collaborate with clients and project stakeholders to ensure effective health and safety management practices.
  • Develop and implement training programs for staff and contractors on general safety principles and scaffolding best practices.

Requirements:

  • Degree or diploma in a relevant field (e.g. construction management, safety engineering) or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
  • Strong knowledge of QA systems and processes.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Current Advanced Scaffolders Ticket and OHS accredited training.
