Nurse in Paediatrics and Neurosciences

Mater Brisbane is seeking a Registered Nurse with experience in Anaesthetics to join our Paediatrics and Neurosciences team. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care in Anaesthetics and Paediatrics settings
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to achieve excellent patient outcomes
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Participate in education and training programs to enhance your skills and knowledge
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to improve patient care
Requirements:
- Current AHPRA nursing registration as a Registered Nurse (no restrictions)
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Registered Nurse in an Anaesthetics setting, Paediatrics and Neuro highly desirable/ training will be provided
- Ability to work in an ever-changing and fast-paced environment
- A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to role model and promote the Mater values
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to liaise with all levels of the multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated ability to operate both in a team environment and autonomously using initiative, sound reasoning, and strong listening, negotiation, and decision-making skills
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Commitment to ensuring the levels of service are always delivered to patients at all times
