About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Junior Planning Specialist to join our Head Office team at Frontline Recruitment. As a key member of the Retail Team, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining merchandise plans, analyzing sales data, and providing essential reporting to ensure stock requirements meet the company's financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver timely and accurate reports on weekly, monthly, and end-of-season sales data to inform business decisions.
  • Analyze historical sales data to identify trends and manage size curves at the style, colour, and attribute level, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing waste.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Merchandise Planning, Production, and Buying, to adjust size breaks based on data analysis and feedback, driving business growth and success.
  • Develop and lead pre-season goals and strategies, and participate in the end-of-season review process, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Manage Open-to-Buy (OTB) processes, including inventory management, sales planning, and competitor analysis, to optimize stock levels and drive revenue growth.
About You

We are looking for a highly organized, self-motivated, and proactive individual with experience in apparel planning and an understanding of high-volume, high-turnover retail environments. You should possess excellent communication and time management skills, be proficient in Excel, and have a strong attention to detail.
