Job Summary

Bradnam's Windows and Doors is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at our Rockhampton location. As a Truck Driver, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of manufactured products and materials throughout the Central Queensland region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a variety of vehicles, including trucks and trailers, to transport goods and materials to customers and within the manufacturing facility.
  • Ensure all vehicles are in a safe, well-maintained, clean, and tidy condition, and that all items loaded onto trucks and trailers are secure before travel.
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, driver hours, and other relevant documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management to ensure smooth delivery and receipt of goods.
  • Contribute to a safe working environment by adhering to all site requirements, including mandatory PPE and sign-in procedures.
  • Travel within the Central Queensland region, including to various manufacturing sites and customer locations.

Requirements

  • A valid, unrestricted Driver's Licence issued for the appropriate vehicle category.
  • Approach every task positively, demonstrating a commitment to safe work practices and a strong work ethic.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Truck Licence MR preferred.
