The Department of Health is seeking a highly organized and efficient Personal Assistant to support the Acute Nursing Director and Head of Unit in Mental Health Services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support, including secretarial services, scribing minutes, and maintaining a highly organized work environment.
- Organize meetings and rooms, prepare agendas, keep records of meetings, and disseminate information to committees.
- Scribe minutes, type, and distribute in a timely manner.
- Undertake work with minimum supervision, prioritizing workloads, meeting deadlines, and maintaining a highly organized work environment.
Requirements
- Effective communication skills for interacting with all levels of personnel, both verbally and in writing.
- High-level word-processing skills using Microsoft Office packages.
- Previous relevant experience in a health setting.
- Experience in preparing agendas and taking minutes.
