We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Arts Education Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced educator to deliver a comprehensive Arts program in line with school policy and the Victorian and Australian curriculums.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a curriculum that aligns with the Victorian and Australian standards, delivering engaging Arts lessons to students from Prep to Year 6, and collaborating with colleagues to plan and deliver whole-school arts events and exhibitions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lesson Planning and Delivery: Prepare and deliver high-quality Arts lessons that cater to diverse learning needs and abilities.
- Curriculum Development: Develop and implement a curriculum that meets the requirements of the Victorian and Australian curriculums and aligns with the school's policies.
- Collaboration and Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver whole-school arts events and exhibitions that promote student engagement and creativity.
- Assessment and Feedback: Assess student learning and provide constructive feedback to improve their artistic skills and confidence.
Requirements:
- Qualifications and Experience: Extensive experience teaching Arts in a Primary setting and a relevant tertiary qualification.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Registration and Compliance: Current VIT registration and compliance with Child Safety Standards.
