About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in Central Western Victoria. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients living in Ballarat and surrounding areas.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a highly skilled multidisciplinary team, providing evidence-based therapeutic supports to clients. You will be responsible for managing a caseload, assessing clients' functional levels, and developing treatment plans to promote independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of clients and provide timely evidence-based therapeutic supports
  • Assess clients' functional levels through clinical observations and standardized assessments
  • Develop treatment plans to promote independence and well-being
  • Provide support and advice on adaptations to the environment, including home, school, work, and residential facilities
  • Recommend provision of Assistive Technology to assist clients with functional limitations
About You

We are looking for a positive, can-do individual who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of others. As an Occupational Therapist, you will have:

  • A degree in Occupational Therapy and current full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, clients, and their support networks
  • Strive for continuous improvement of practices and outcomes
  • Current driver's license and own reliable vehicle
