About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Maintenance and Groundskeeper to join our team at Ingenia Holidays One Mile Beach. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the site is well-maintained and presented at a high standard.
Responsibilities
- Administer all repairs and maintenance to tools, equipment, and machinery
- Regularly check and attend to general repairs to accommodation and amenities; including fixing toilets and unhinged doors
- Ensure the sites are maintained and presented at a high standard at all times
- Garden labour such as pruning, weeding, hedging, and mowing are to be completed in a timely manner and of a high quality condition
- Ensure the proper and safe use and storage of all materials, consumables, and gardening equipment
- Stripping of beds & removal of all linen from Villas as well as cleaning and maintaining exterior of Villa windows, decking, pathways etc.
- Other tasks including emptying rubbish bins, and garden restoration
Requirements
- Previous experience working as a handyman or in a maintenance position
- Driver's Licence
- Ability to work with limited supervision
- Great customer service skills teamed with a positive attitude and a strong attention to detail
- Availability to work weekends and public holidays on a rotating roster
