Job Title: Front End Cashier Assistant

Join Costco Wholesale as a Front End Cashier Assistant and be part of a dynamic team that provides exceptional customer service and ensures a seamless shopping experience for our members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet and Assist Members: Greet members warmly and assist them in loading their orders onto the conveyor belt, ensuring their packing preferences are met.
  • Pack and Load Orders: Pack member orders into boxes and load them onto a separate trolley or flatbed, checking for tampering and following all safety and security procedures.
  • Run for Items: Run for items such as merchandise, boxes, and register supplies as requested by cashiers to maintain a smooth checkout process.
  • Maintain a Clean Environment: Maintain the cleanliness of the register area and general front end area, cleaning spills and trip hazards immediately.
  • Retrieve Trolleys and Flatbeds: Retrieve trolleys and flatbeds from the parking area using a rope with a clasping hook, pushing no more than 10 trolleys together.
  • Perform Related Tasks: Perform related tasks such as setting up and closing duties for the department, returning products, collecting paperwork, stocking registers, and cleaning the area.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Assist Other Areas: Assist other areas in the department as necessary.
  • Assist in Other Departments: Assist in other departments of the warehouse as necessary.
  • Operate Equipment: Operate mechanical trash compactor/cardboard baler.
  • Obtain RSA Certification: Must be willing to obtain an RSA certification.

Requirements: Must be able to provide proof of right to work in Australia.
