Senior Environmental Specialist

About this Role

We are seeking a seasoned HSE Professional to lead our team in ensuring the highest standards of Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) on our Jansz-Io Compression project.

Key Responsibilities:

• To oversee HSE audits, inspections and field assurance verifications to guarantee execution contractor compliance with our HSE management systems
• To provide strategic guidance and support to Execution Contractor HSE personnel
• To maintain effective liaison and communication between HSE and other major capital project functions

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in collaborating with contractors to deliver exceptional HSE performance outcomes
• Proven track record of working in a Civil, Construction and/or Oil and Gas environment
• Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships that drive outstanding business results

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in an Operational LNG Plant with construction activities, Heavy/Critical lifting, HV Electrical and/or Commissioning Environment would be highly advantageous
• Contractor HSE Management and/or execution of field-based activities on Barrow Island or offshore would be beneficial

This is a 12-month contract role with a roster of 2/2. Only candidates with the right to work in Australia will be considered.
