Our Mobile Patient Care (MPC) division specializes in Non-Emergency Patient Transport, operating primarily across Victoria and New South Wales. We utilize a comprehensive fleet of ambulances and support our transport services with RFDS aircraft, ensuring safe and efficient patient movement.
Role OverviewWe are currently looking for dedicated Patient Transport Officers to fill full-time ongoing roles. Our team is committed to providing exceptional patient care and treatment during transport for individuals with various medical needs. As a leader in the Non-Emergency Patient Transport (NEPT) sector, we offer structured training, professional development opportunities, and a supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct patient assessments and interventions during transport.
- Deliver high-quality care and treatment while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Foster positive relationships with patients and other stakeholders.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of interventions in line with RFDS MPC guidelines and NEPT regulations.
- Operate independently and address challenges within established protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to enhance patient outcomes.
- Stay informed about RFDS MPC policies and NEPT regulations to uphold best practices.
- Certification as a Patient Transport Officer (PTO) with a minimum of Cert III in Non-emergency Patient Care.
- Experience in the NEPT sector is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Possession of a FULL NSW Driver's license with a clean driving history.
- Availability for day shifts, Monday to Friday.
