Senior Digital Content Creator

Job Description:


We are seeking an experienced Senior Digital Content Creator to join our dynamic team. As a key member, you will play a vital role in creating and curating engaging content for our online platforms.

Your primary responsibilities will include managing and populating our social media accounts, using graphic design and video tools to create compelling content, and collaborating with the wider digital team to ensure our news stories receive the right social media treatment.

To succeed in this role, you must have excellent knowledge of social media platforms, strong writing and communication skills, sound news judgment, a keen attention to detail, and a strong sense of urgency. You should also be able to multitask and have a thorough grasp of online content distribution.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A journalism degree or equivalent experience in the media industry
  • Strong work ethic and high level of initiative
  • Excellent literacy and attention to detail
  • Good interview and communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously under high pressure

In addition to these qualifications, you should have a keen interest in news at a local, national, and international level, as well as the ability to identify new social media channels and opportunities to capture new audiences.
