Trainee Mobile Plant Operator

We are seeking a highly motivated and safety-conscious individual to join our team as a Mobile Plant Operator. This is an entry-level position that offers a comprehensive training program and the opportunity to develop a long-term career in the mining industry.
Key Responsibilities- Operate various types of heavy earthmoving equipment, including haul trucks, loaders, wheel dozers, track dozers, graders, and excavators.
- Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Participate in on-the-job training and off-site training at TAFE to achieve a Certificate III in Surface Extractions.
- Work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, adhering to strict safety protocols and procedures.
- A comprehensive 18-month traineeship program, including on-the-job training and off-site training at TAFE.
- Assistance to obtain a HR Class drivers licence as part of the program.
- A competitive remuneration package, including 14.5% superannuation, medical allowance, site allowance, annual salary increases, and eligibility for annual bonuses.
- Mentoring and guidance throughout the traineeship program.
- All uniforms, tools, and PPE supplied.
- Long-term employment opportunities on completion of the program.
To be considered for this role, you should possess:
- A current Western Australian Drivers Licence.
- Enthusiasm to learn and contribute to open-cut mine production operations.
- Commitment to safe operating practices.
- Unlimited work rights in Australia.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical (including Drug & Alcohol).
