Job Description

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, empathy, and a commitment to delivering comprehensive primary health care services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver holistic and comprehensive GP services to achieve improved health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
  • Provide acute illness or injury management, prevention, early detection, chronic disease management, and health promotion services.
  • Work effectively within a multidisciplinary primary health care team, accommodating Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander values and traditions in clinical practice.
  • Be willing to take cultural advice from Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander staff and be aware of and sensitive to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture and history.
