Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Shipping and Receiving Specialist to join our team. This position is responsible for ensuring the accurate verification of incoming/outgoing shipments, processing and confirming receipt/shipping documentation for internal/external customers, and maintaining inventory of shipping supplies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Verify part numbers and place parts in their designated locations
  • Loading/unloading material from delivery trucks, sorting, reconciling, and entering information into the ERP system to prepare for counting processes
  • Matching paperwork to boxes and preparing orders for billing/shipping
  • Operate warehouse forklift or picker truck to pull and return parts from inventory (if applicable)
  • Drive company vehicles for material movement between buildings and/or customer deliveries (if applicable)
  • Scheduling, tracking, and monitoring both inbound and outbound shipments to ensure proper routing and storage of goods
  • Coordinating the most cost-effective means of transporting products while meeting customer deadlines
  • Participating in key projects to support continuous improvement initiatives
Additional Requirements:
  • Prepare export documentation and shipping manifests, including documentation required for the transport of hazardous materials
  • Demonstrate general knowledge of trade compliance and environmental regulations as they apply to the storage, handling, and transportation of hazardous materials
Basic Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 2-4 years of related work experience, preferably in a warehouse setting
  • Able to lift and carry cartons weighing up to 35 lbs
  • Able to manage heavier cartons using available safety equipment
  • Able to fluently read, write, and speak English
  • Experience operating material handling equipment
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • CURRENT VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE WITH A CLEAN DRIVING RECORD (at sites where driving is a role requirement)
