About the Role

The Senior Contracts Administrator will lead the commercial management of large subcontracts and self-performed works, both directly and indirectly. This involves working effectively with internal and external stakeholders and direct reports to deliver project commercial outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing scopes of works and tender packages for procurement processes
  • Interpreting specifications and drawings to understand scope of works
  • Conducting prequalification of interested companies and managing the review process for subcontractor award
  • Negotiating with allocated subcontractors and ensuring all agreements align with project risk management principles
  • Maintaining a register of subcontractors and identifying key data in relation to each subcontract

The ideal candidate will have experience in subcontract management, including scope preparation, cost forecasting, subcontractor management, claims/variations management, completion, and close-out. Strong commercial acumen and awareness of contract law are essential.
